350. Gate (MOT#25)

When walking by this scene I was immediately drawn to it…in the stark of winter it just looked so abandoned and lonely, that slight hint of a light warmed up the scene a bit.

  1. I am fascinated by the cross piece in the top of the gate, and yes your touch of colour works a treat.

  2. That bit of warm light is great, it being askew is a wonderful twist

  3. The wonderful gate suits very well in black and white.

  4. Nice treatment on this gate. The bit of color is really a subtle touch.

  5. Wonderful – and perfect processing to capture the mood you describe.

  6. It looks like the sort of a gate one finds in a fantasy novel–open it, and you’re in a different reality.
