166. Sculpture

For all you baseball fans (and I know there are a few).  Today is the opening ceremony for the College world Series Games held here in Omaha, Ne.  Outside of the stadium is a sculpture which reminds us of the work these teams had to go through to get here.  Let the games begin….

  3. Great sculptures, that first one looks so realistic. I like the red and blue behind it, mmakes the sculpture really stand out. There’s something about that second one that I really like!

  17. Thanks for the pics! UNC lost their first game and need to win the next one or they are out. The bottom statue reminds me of the JDOE statues that were all around Omaha in 2001. Is this one of those? I don’t remember that one.
